What you can do

Two starters, both hold tags: a letter-size placard with a red HOLD banner for the wall of the cage, and a 4×6 thermal tag for the part itself
Print a tag from the NCR and its number, part, quantity, reason and date are already on it
The tag carries a QR code that opens that NCR — scan it on the floor, sign in if you have to, and land on the disposition
The 4×6 tag is landscape for standard Zebra/Rollo stock and prints in black only — a thermal printer has no color, so what you preview is what comes out
Edit either template or build your own — fields, sizes, orientation, barcode or QR — and every print is kept in the print history
