Inspection Plans

The control plan becomes a locked door, not a laminated sheet — frequency, samples, method, and gauges, enforced at data entry.

Inspection form refusing to save with a "Save blocked — inspection plan deviation" bannerInspection Plan tab on a part with frequency, sample quantity, gauges, and enforcement

What you can do

  • One plan per inspection type, per part — first article, in-process, final, receiving
  • Frequency, sample quantity, and method spelled out for the floor
  • Attach specific gauges so the right instrument gets used every time
  • First / middle / last positional cadence for in-run sampling
  • Four enforcement modes — Off, Pre-fill, Warn, Block — set org-wide, with per-plan overrides so a safety-critical part can run Block while commodity parts run Warn
  • In Block mode the save is refused when the sample count is set below the plan, an off-plan gauge is used, or the required first/middle/last position isn’t tagged — nobody quietly measures 2 when the plan says 5
  • Enforcement is included on every tier — no enterprise upsell to make your control plan mean something
